Lucali’s is known for its wood-fired pies in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens, but at its new spot a few blocks away on Court Street, Baby Luc’s is turning out impressive square pies with a killer crust. The pies emerge from traditional pizza ovens with a crunchy, bubbly crust with some burn marks around the edges. One bite explains why it’s got folks lining up out the door.
The pies come with five different topping, including a traditional margarita, pepperoni, sausage & peppers, and ricotta & broccoli rabe. Each square slice is topped with fresh basil and grated parmesan cheese. Whole pies are in the $30-$34 range with individual slices from $4-$4.50. Beers and negronis are also available. The pizza shop is currently open from Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm until the pizza is sold out.
Baby Luc’s is located at 387 Court St, Brooklyn. NY
