Taco Mahal, the Indian and Latin hybrid eatery that has become Internet-famous for selling Chicken Tikka Masala Tacos, has launched “Giveback Samosas”. The program will benefit Khalsa Aid International’s humanitarian efforts to provide relief to those affected by COVID-19 with Taco Mahal’s delicious side dish, the Samosa. One of India’s best-known street foods, Taco Mahal’s vegetarian Samosa ($3.50) features a mix of spices, potato, peas, and carrots wrapped in fried pastry dough. Available at both the West Village and Hell’s Kitchen locations, 100% of the proceeds from Samosa sales will be donated to the charity the entire month of August.
