High Street on Hudson is now Sandbar on Hudson. Ellen Yin, one of the owners of High Street, reportedly teaming up with the owner of nearby Brunetti to open Sandbar, initially as a pop-up. Most of the dining is occuring in two outside cabanas with lots of string lights. The menu features items like Wild Arctic Salmon atop a bed of celery root puree and basil oil; Madagascar Shrimp on garlic toast; and Lobster Mac and Cheese. To go along with the comfort foods are cocktails like Fall in a Glass made with apple infused vodka, pear cordial, and cinnamon. The restaurant is located just steps away from the High Line and Whitney Museum of Art.
