Ootoya Onigiri Pop-Up Window Opens in Times Square

Ootoya in Times Square now has an onigiri window open to the public celebrating onigiri, also known as the japanese rice ball. Choices include Salted Pork Scallion, Shisho Hijiki Seaweed, Beef sukiyaki and Shrimp Ebe-Fry. Prices range from $3.50 to $5 per piece. sets range from $9 for a two piece set with one side to $35 for a 10-piece "Souvenir" set. The onigiri is being sold daily from 11:30am to 2pm through early March.
