Que Chevere is a restaurant specializing in Puerto Rican cuisine at Market Line on the Lower East Side. One of its standout dishes is the Mofungo, a mound of smashed plaintains piled high with seasonings and a lot of garlic. It comes with a choice of shrimp, fried chicken and skirt steak. But we prefer the pernil, roasted pork, that is cooked to perfection. It arrives with a house sauce that is out of this world! You can take it out or order in and eat in a communal dining room on the top floor. 115 Delancey St, New York, NY (929) 384-6811
