Five exciting new restaurants to try in New York City

La Pavillon
Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud newly opened Le Pavillon, at One Vanderbilt Avenue, is pure elegance, The interior design features a winding garden path, seamlessly blending nature and architecture. Suspended above the bar, American artist Andy Paiko has created a custom, hand blown glass chandelier, highlighting breathtaking views of Grand Central Terminal and the Chrysler building. more
Dame
The British have landed on MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village. Look for a seafood centric menu at Dame with fish & chips and grilled blowfish tails playing a starring role. The restaurant also plans to resurrect its Sunday Series in July, handing over the kitchen to an invited industry friend. more
YUCO
Dive in to the flavors of the Yukotan at YUCO in Greenwich Village. The Menu features dishes like Snake River Farm ribeye tacos, squash blossom tacos, and braised oxtail empanadas, or go for a 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing. There's an imaginative cocktail list and 100 types of agave to choose from as well. more
LittleMad
LittleMad is a new Korean-American restaurant in K-Town where Executive Chef Sol Han is employing French technique to create a playful, visual and interactive dishes. Look for Nduja Toast with manila clam, pickled pearls and herbs, Soft Shell Crab with speck, pea leaves and sabayon, among others. more
Bandits
Bandits is New York City's newest watering hole at the corner of 44 Bedford Street in the West Village in the former Daddy-O space where visitors will be transported back in time. The restaurant is taking its cue from on an old school diner and dive, including cocktails that offer a nod to prominent moments in New York pop culture.
