BROADWAY ON DEMAND TO AIR THE LAST PLAY AT SHEA

“The Last Play at Shea,” a 2010 documentary which chronicles the intersecting histories of the landmark Shea Stadium and the legendary performer Billy Joel, will air on Broadway on Demand beginning on January 22. The film is written by Mark Monroe and produced by Steve Cohen and Nigel Sinclair.
The 90-minute film is centered on Joel's 2008 concerts of the same name that occurred at Shea Stadium on July 16 and 18, before a combined 110,000 fans. They were the last performances ever to play the historic stadium before it was demolished.
Narrated by Alec Baldwin, this documentary special includes interviews with Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett, Garth Brooks, Roger Daltrey and Don Henley.
