Heading to The Rink at Rockefeller Center? Make a stop at the cozy new Apres Skate Chalets. The heated cabins are the perfect stop to unwind after hours of ice skating with warm drinks and treats from Hombre Taco. The chalets are open to the public from 11am to 8pm on the South Esplanade on a first come, first served.

‘Tis the season for axe hurling, festive cocktails, and giant turkey legs at Live Axe, Manhattan’s first axe throwing experience in the heart of SoHo. It’s also a great way to get out that holiday stress. Drinks include the Holiday’’s Martini with Baileys, Vanilla vodka, Kahlua, and a dash of whipped cream with cinnamon and pecans on top.

Nami Nori in Willaimsburg is launching brunch on weekends. Brunch Temaki (Open Hand Rolls) include in Avocado "toast" with pickled beets and crispy carrot, and Philly with smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber. For dessert there are Mo-Churros, mochi churros with lemon curd. Drinkwise – Look for the Cherry Bomb with Crémant sparkling wine, cherry sage cordial and soju.

Laugh in the New Year at Carolines on Broadway. The New Year’s Eve Spectacular will offer two shows on December 31st at 7:30pm and 10pm. This year’s show features performances by Chanel Ali, Shafi Hossain, Alvin Kuai, Jason Salmon and Ashton Womack with music by DJ Wiz.

This past week, Mochidoki launched a new mochi ice cream bundle, featuring a gift-wrapped box of 12 best-selling flavors from their lineup, as well as a serving board ($50).
