Lucky for you, Japan’s favorite toy line has a home in New York’s Times Square at the Hello Kitty Store, much to the delight of kids and other fans of Kitty and her Sanrio pals. The store sells all the other Sanrio lines, such as Pochacco, and Keroppi, but although plenty of other Sanrio lines are on hand, the true star here is the Hello Kitty character. Like much of the rest of the neighborhood, this store remains open late on Friday and Saturday nights. – Molly, September 2005
