Neighborhood: Greenwich Village
Type of Place: Irish Pubs

Description:

Established in 1854, McSorley's is one of the oldest ale houses in New York City and also one of the most popular. On a good night, the old-style saloon, with sawdust on the floor, is packed with young people chugging down mugs of McSorley's famous light and dark ale, sometimes two to three at a time. The best way to describe it is to think of a giant frat party. Loud, but loads of fun. Co-ed bathrooms.
