Cititour Review:

Wok to Walk is the newest Asian fast-food to arrive on the scene. You'll find this bright and cheery spot, with the chef working the wok in the window, on Univeristy Place near West 12th Street.

Ordering is as easy as, well, 1-2-3. There are three basic steps starting with selecting your base ($5.90). You can pick from six categories, including egg, wheat or rice noodles. There's also whole grain or jasmine rice. Or, you can go completely vegetarian. Next is to pick your favorites. There are 15 in all ranging from chicken breast to baby corn to roasted peanuts (50 cents to $2.50) . Add in one of seven special sauces, from curry coconut to garlic and black pepper, and you're done.

We tried the rice noodles with strips of sirloin beef and green peas with an oyster sauce. The result was a delicious stir-fry that was big enough for two people costing about ten bucks.

You might want to wok and walk to Union Square Park which is just a few blocks away. Or, eat at one of the restaurant's futuristic tables made of pressed wood and what looks like cork. It's fun and flavorful!
