The nugget spot is just that. A spot for chicken or pork nuggets coated with special coatings ranging from coconut, pretzel and cheez-it to southern fried. Unlike some fast-food joints where the nuggets tend to be a bit spongy and not made with breast meat, these chicken nuggets are the real deal made with nice big chunks.
The southern fried nuggets we tried were well spiced with a crunchy crust. The meat inside was tender and juicy. They went perfectly with a sweet mango chile sauce. Other sauces include red pepper ranch, BBQ and wasabi mayo. I counted about a dozen pieces in a $7 order. Fries and biscuits are also available along with brownie bites for dessert.
We stopped in shortly after the opening, so service was a bit spotty. But that should improve as they get out the kinks.
