Getting juiced up in NoLita. Only this time, Mixologist Heather Tierney, owner of Apothéke and Pulqueria, is skipping the liquor and going for the real juice. This corner spot, all dressed up in white, is serving up light vegan dishes and smoothies that will help you detox after a night on the town. There are "simple juices" that come with names like Red, Orange and Green. Green being cucumber, kale and green apple. Smoothies range from the Brazilian Blast to Solar Power, or go for a Divine Intervention; cold-brewed coffee, almond milk and ice. Add vanilla or raw cacao for an extra blast of flavor. The Butcher's Daughter is also serving elixir shots like the Vampire Slayer combining ginger, lemon, garlic and cayenne. Soups, salads and sandwiches are also available. - Thomas Rafael
