There's nothing I love more than a big salad with an unlimited amount of toppings. Lucky for me, one day while roaming around in Manhattan, I found the Teleon Cafe. For very reasonable prices, (under $10.00) the Teleon Cafe offers a variety of fresh made to order salad choices, including chicken and salmon as options.
The employees were very nice and helpful; being that it was my first time there and there were so many salad variations to choose from, I had to take a moment to figure out what I wanted to try. Finally, I chose spinach as a base and added a bunch of my favorite toppings, including: beans, cucumbers, yellow peppers, onions, tomatoes, sunflower seeds and cranberries. I was happy with my salad and very full once I finally finished the oversized bowl.
The atmosphere at Teleon Cafe is nice and inviting (although it is more deli than cafe) with a second floor for additional seating, making for a nice place to grab a filling salad by yourself or meet with a group of friends just to hang or have a business meeting. I'm pretty sure the next time that I want a nice size salad with all the toppings I can think of, I will make it back to visit the Teleon Cafe.
