If you're looking to satisfy that sweet tooth, you may want to head over to Royale, a new West Village spot for cupcakes and other goodies. The kids will love the cupcakes with their whimsical toppings that taste as good as they look. There's the Oopsy Daisy made with dark chocolate and peanut butter cream, and the Sweet and Salty; caramel cream on top of dark chocolate cake. You'll also find coconut, red velvet, a trio of orange, lemmon and lime, and my son's favorite, Oreo. All the baked goods actually arrive via Brooklyn from Baked, a popular spot in Red Hook. But it's not just for kids, adults will find freshly made scones, pyramid shaped macaroons and huge chocolate chip biscotti. Now, that's what we call the "royale" treatment.
