Details:

Roni-Sue's Chocolates, a fixture at original Essex Street Market, now has a bright and shiny counter at the new Essex Market located at the corner of Essex and Delancey Streets. As usual, the flavors are spot on and they also get high marks for creativity. Look for tasty treats like Pina Colada and Mojito truffles along with Black Out, Mint, Chai Tea and Absinthe flavors. Baked goods, pretzels and hot chocolate is also available. During our visit, the two women running the shop (including Roni-Sue), remarked that the new Essex Market has been able to maintain the feel and character of the original, and we agree.
