Roast Kitchen is not quite your ordinary salad bar. Vegetables are mixed with different types of rice and grains, including quinoa. You can mix-and-match or go with one of six preselected combinations like the "Local Market" which includes shredded kale, New York apples, popcorn, raw beets and pumpkin seeds for $8.95. Or, build your own "roast bowls" that are served hot starting at $8.50. They include greens and grains. Marinated meats and vegetables cooked rotisserie-style are $2.76 extra. They include herb and spicy chicken, marinated steak, pork sausage and pork butt made with shio koji, a fermented rice that is said to bring out then umami in foods. - Thomas Rafael
