Cititour Review:

If you've got money to burn, burn it at Petrossian. The champagne and caviar flow freely at this New York Landmark. If you stick to the prix fixe menus you might get off easy, but Petrossian is the type of place where one should splurge. This Russian enclave is known for its caviar and stiff prices. The beluga caviar starts at $94 an ounce. Throw in a bottle of fine champagne and you're easily looking at a $200 dollar tab. But it's money well spent, since the service is excellent and so is the food, from the smoked salmon ($19) to the foie gras ($18). Filet mignon will set you back $37. But there are ways to experience Petrossian at prices that won't bust the budget. The prix fixe lunch will set you back just $20 and the theatre prix fixe costs just $28, although you'll have to trade in the filet mignon for a pork snitzel. And it doesn't apply to prime dinner hours Reservations are almost definitely needed, unless you are willing to sit at the bar. Appropriate dress is strongly suggested, although they won't look down on you in casual wear.
