Did you know New Yorkers devoured 34 million hot dogs in one year? That's just one of the interesting facts we picked up from our visit to Papaya King on 14th Street and Seventh Avenue. A flashing neon sign calling us in.
Papaya King never seems to disappoint when you're looking for some cheap eats. The hot dogs are perfectly grilled and snap when you bite into one. They come topped with relish or sauerkraut, and spicy mustard. You can wash it down with one of their papaya drinks, or choose another tropical flavor like mango or banana daiquiri. Papaya King also serves up cajun fries and New York-style "square" knishes, and stays open just in case you have the munchies. What more can you ask for!
