Nom Wah Kuai, an offshoot of Nom Wah Tea Parlor, is serving its signature dim sum dishes at Canal Street Market. Open faced dumplings stuffed with shrimp and snow pea leaves, and Pork Siu Mai with minced pork, mushroom and shrimp. They also sell shrimp or chicken dumplings in wheat wrappers. The dumplings are four for five dollars and worth every penny. Special sauces are available for 50 cents each. They include flavors like creamy sesame, sweet soy and ginger tomatillo or you can just drizzle 'em with soy sauce. Nom Wah Kuai is also offering rice bowls with crispy chicken or pork along with spicy tofu. Enjoy.
