Our search for Chinatown's best dumplings took us to the New Green Bo, a bustling little restaurant on Bayard Street near the Manhattan Bridge. The food is fantastic, the service friendly and the prices unbeatable. The dumplings are made fresh as you wait, each filled with deliciously seasoned meats and vegetables. The crab and pork "tiny buns" (eight for $6.25) are outstanding! A drizzle of crab meat runs the from the center of each fig-shaped dumpling filled with steamy juices. It doesn't get better than this. New Green Bo specializes in Shanghai-style cuisine, but also offers some Szechuan dishes. Everything is fresh and flavorful. You won't be disappointed. The restaurant is open 7 Days a week from 11am until midnight. Cash only!
