Chef Esther Choi is bringing traditional Korean foods to Brooklyn at her sleek new restaurant, Mokbar. Located just steps away from Barclays Center, the restaurant is featuring small shareable plates, called "anju," and ramen dishes. K-Pop Chicken is a fiery mix of Korean-style fried chicken with rice cakes and sweet potatoes. Pork belly and kimchi are packed into crispy buns called  Ho' Cakes. Three types of house-made dumplings, called Mandu, are offered along with Bibimbap and "Jip-Bap."  Ramen dishes include the Classic with a gochujang pork broth, along with braised pork, spinach, bean sprouts, scallions, shiitake mushrooms and nori.  If meat's your thing try the Army "Budae." It's a spicy kimchi pork broth with spam, sausage, pork belly, bacon, kimchi, tofu, watercress, and cheddar cheese.
