The Egyptian Feteer pie is made from long sheets of dough that is rolled out until paper thin and then folded to create wonderfully flaky layers that cover the entire pie. The pies are filled with ground beef, tomatoes, green pepper and cheese to create a delicious meal. Other fillings include roast beef, sausage, Egyptian pastrami, chicken and lamb. Sweetened versions are made with your choice of honey, Nutella, custard and nuts or a combination.
