Getting a taste of Summer at Island Oyster. The folks behind Grand Banks and the Pilot have assembled this 36-foot marble bar on Governors Island offering stunning views of Brooklyn, Manhattan, New Jersey and Ellis Island. Located adjacent to the ferry landing, the open-air space attracts a youngish crowd sipping cocktails and craft beers while enjoying fresh oysters, lobster rolls and fish tacos.  It's run by lifelong sailors, Alex and Miles Pincus, who are behind some of the hottest oyster bars in the city. Take advantage of it before the cold weather sets in.
