New York's fashionable food court war is heating up with the arrival of Hudson Eats at Brookfield Place. Aside from stunning sunset views overlooking the Hudson, there is also some pretty stunning food. Get your umami on at Umami Burger, find bahn mi sandwiches at Num Pang or go Mexico at Dos Toros. And who could resist a gooey grilled cheese like the ones you'll find at Little Meunster. There are also freshly made salads at Chop't, slow-smoked barbecue ribs at Mighty Quinns, Skinny Pizza, and gourmet cupcakes at Sprinkles. The food court is spacious with lots of seating to go around. Larger groups can claim a curvy booth or a communal table, or take a seat at a marble counter. It is all quite high-end right down to the stylish food trays. We like to think of it as more of a food mecca, rather than a food court. - Thomas Rafael
