Old school Italian reigns supreme at Fiacco’s Pork Store in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, a go-to spot for Italian delicacies. Look for some of the best house-made sausages in NYC, including broccoli rabe, spicy pork and chicken. All are seasoned to perfection. There's also freshly made braciole, thinly sliced beef rolled up with cheese and Italian herbs. It's wonderful with a bowl of spaghetti. And don't start us on the rice balls. They are pure perfection with just the right amount of cheese. Faicco's is also known for its prosciutto balls and ultra-fluffy potato croquettes. You really can't go wrong with a tray of all three for a party. Your guests will thank you. It's also a quality butcher shop with all types of cuts, including pork, beef and veal. Cured meats and cheeses are also available, along with sandwiches and specialties like lasagna and veal parmesan. Service is friendly and the place is spotless. Expect a crowd on weekends. You won't be disappointed.
