You can find the best of everything in New York. Or the best of one thing. There is gelato at Grom, gourmet doughnuts at the Doughnut Plant, large cupcakes at Magnolia and minis at Baked by Melissa. You'll even find rice pudding solo at Rice to Riches. But up until now, no one's thought of tiramisu, the luxurious Italian treat made with layers of cream, cocoa and espresso. That is until now.
Enter Dolce Vizio in the West Village. Owners Nadia Tade and Alessandro Radici have scoured all of Italy to bring the best tiramisu recipes to America. And let's just say you'll never think of tiramisu in the same way again.
With the help of Michelin Star chef Fabrizio Ferraro they've unveiled a fabulous selection of exotic tiramisu desserts in flavors like mango, orange espresso, limoncello and raspberry. Can't decide? Then make your own. Drizzle your favorite sauce on some ladyfingers and mascarpone and top it off with everything from fresh berries and pistachios to Italian macaroons.
Prices range from $5 to $8 dollars. Portions are large and delicioso!
