This shop, well known in the East Village, now has a Brooklyn outpost. Located on 5th Street and Seventh Avenue in Park Slope, Butter Lane is turning out a more grown-up cupcake. And it's all about the icing. Here you will find French and American buttercreams made with pure butter, egg whites, vanilla bean and sugar. Icings include flavors like blueberry, raspberry, maple pecan and burnt caramel atop vanilla, chocolate and banana cupcakes.
