When Coppy Holzman and Logan Mikhly, a father and daughter team, couldn't find a dog-friendly cafe, they decided to open up their own and name it after their canine companions. Hence, Boris & Horton was born. But this cafe isn't just for the dogs. People can enjoy a coffee and espresso, including the house blend called Boris Brew. There are pastries and mini quiches from the likes of Balthazaar, Bien Cuit and Murray's Cheese Shop, along with "PAW-reos" and "Pupcakes" from maison de pawZ (as well as gluten-free dog biscuits). While you're there feel free to browse for things like doggie bandanas, hip doggie clothing, colorful collars, and pull toys, including one shaped like a cannoli. There are a few ground rules including no off leash play, crowd control and keep it classy. Boris & Horton also plans to host adoption events to match up pups and older dogs with forever homes.
