Beer Table Pantry has to be one of the narrowest shops you'll ever visit. Two steps in and you're there - one giant wall of beer. It's brought to you by the same folks who operate Beer Table in Park Slope. Husband and wife team, Justin and Tricia Philips, have a true passion for everything beer and it shows. From the Beer Table growlers stacked high (which you can refill) to the huge assortment of bottled beers they have assembled from around the world, with names like Rogue John John Ale aged in spruce gin barrels, Firestone Double Jack from India and Hecht Schlenferla Rauchbier brewed in Germany. Some beers like the Ipa Sculpin with a lion fish on the label, and Dorothy Goodbody's Stout with an image of what could be a young Marilyn Monroe, are worth buying just for the artwork. You'll also find local brews like Sorachi Ace made in Brooklyn. Beer Table Pantry is also selling gourmet foods, although I have no idea how they managed to fit it all in.
